After a string of acrobatic robberies, a presumably reformed jewel thief, living an idyllic life in the French Riviera, is suspected by both the local gendarmes and his estranged former French Resistance pals of having reverted to his old habits. To clear himself he has to catch the thief, and collaborates with a blonde heiress, who may be planning to catch a husband.
