An underwater battle with spear guns and some sharks ensues. Cast: Adolfo Celi, Bernard Lee, Lois Maxwell and Desmond Llewelyn. Director: Terence Young. [2:10 – PG]
Dueling Critics
“The fourth Bond movie is excellent vintage escapist adventure entertainment, smoothly and excitingly done…It is hugely enlivened by a long series of stylishly handled, exciting sequences, so no one looking for thrilling action need feel short-changed.”
“Connery appears almost bored with his role, lacking the enthusiasm and authenticity of the three prior embarkations…’Thunderball’ is the official genesis of Bond becoming hokey”
